Our Mission
The Story Doesn't End at Discharge
Named for the paper that marks the end of service — and built to keep the next chapter moving.
Why We Exist
From the Field to the Ranch
Every service member leaves with a DD214 — the discharge document that closes out a military career. For a lot of veterans, that piece of paper also marks the moment the structure, the mission, and the brotherhood fall away all at once.
The DD214 Project exists to fill some of that gap the way it's always worked best: outdoors, on the land, shoulder to shoulder. We take veterans down to the ranch to hunt, fish, work, and just be out in the open with people who've carried the same weight.
We're a for-profit LLC — a small, veteran-run outfit, not a registered charity. That keeps us nimble and honest about what we are. The gear we sell and the folks who choose to support us are what keep the gates open and the trucks pointed toward the ranch.
How It Works
Honest and Simple
- We host veterans at the ranch. Time outdoors, real work, and good company.
- We sell gear that carries the mission. Hats and patches — worn proud, funding the next trip.
- Supporters chip in. Every contribution goes toward getting more veterans outdoors.
